Whether you have recently missed your period or have already taken a home pregnancy test, our tests are lab-quality and have a higher accuracy rate, meaning you’ll know the outcome for certain during your appointment.
Lab-quality pregnancy tests work by detecting the pregnancy hormone hCG in a woman’s urine. After conception, hCG starts to grow rapidly in the body, which means if a test is taken too early, there might not be enough hCG in the body to detect, thus resulting in a false-negative result. Our lab-quality pregnancy tests can detect the pregnancy hormone after approximately four weeks from the first day of your last period.
Additionally, just as home pregnancy tests can cause false-negative results if taken incorrectly or too early, false-positive results are possible as well.
