Free Ultrasounds in Palm Coast

Due to the high demand for free ultrasounds in Palm Coast, we ask clients to first validate their need with a positive pregnancy test. We offer free pregnancy tests and can typically schedule your ultrasound on the same day.

If you're considering abortion, the first step is a pre-termination appointment to complete an ultrasound.

Before scheduling an abortion, an ultrasound will determine:

• Whether your pregnancy is progressing. This is important in deciding which abortion method you're eligible for. The procedure type and cost depend on your health history and how far along your pregnancy is.

• Whether your pregnancy is viable. The only way to be 100% sure your pregnancy is progressing is with an ultrasound. Studies show that up to 1 in 4 pregnancies don’t progress, and some women don’t realize they’ve had a miscarriage until it’s detected in an ultrasound. If you’ve miscarried, follow-up care from a doctor is needed.

Limited Ultrasounds Often DO:

• Detect fetal heartbeat
• Determine the approximate due date
• Determine the number of fetuses
• Advise immediate medical attention at an emergency room if indicated

Limited Ultrasounds at Alpha Women's Center DO NOT:

• Determine the sex of the baby
• Diagnose fetal abnormalities
• Substitute for prenatal care

We offer free limited ultrasounds to determine if your pregnancy is viable and to assess the stage of fetal development. As a community-funded 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we do not profit from your ultrasound or any pregnancy decision. Since our services are free, nothing will be reported to your insurance or billed to your account.
